Virginia Academy of Dance

Here at Virginia Academy of Dance we order all the uniform leotards for dancers. 

This way parents do not have to pay for shipping and the cost is cheaper for all.

All parents must do is notify us of their child's level and size and we handle the rest!

​

Girls:

Pre-Primary wears a pink, attached-skirt, tank leotard.
They also need to have footed, ballet pink tights, full-sole leather pink ballet shoes.

 

Primary wears a yellow, attached-skirt, tank leotard.
They also need to have footed, ballet pink tights, full-sole leather pink ballet shoes, and any style black tap shoes.

Level 1 wears a lavender, attached-skirt, tank leotard.

They also need to have footed, ballet pink tights, full-sole leather pink ballet shoes, and any style black tap shoes.

​

Level 2 wears a peacock blue, short sleeve, leotard.

They also need to have footed, ballet pink tights and full-sole leather pink ballet shoes. 

​

Level 3 wears a red, short sleeve, leotard.

They also need convertible, ballet pink tights, pink ballet shoes and pointe shoes. *They are permitted to wear a  short, black, dance skirt during pointe if they wish*

​

Level 4 wears a grape, short sleeve leotard. 

They also need convertible, ballet pink tights, pink ballet shoes and pointe shoes. A short, black, dance skirt for class is optional. 

​

Debutants wears a black, short sleeve leotard.

They also need convertible, ballet pink tights, pink ballet shoes.

A short, black, dance skirt for class is optional.

*If your Debutant is in the pointe portion they will also need pointe shoes*

*All leotards have a nice, covering, lining on the inside*

​

Boys:

Pre-Primary wears a white t-shirt, black athletic shorts, and white socks with black, full-sole, leather ballet shoes.

​

Primary wears a yellow t-shirt, black athletic shorts, and white socks, with black, full-sole, leather ballet shoes

 

Level 1 wears a purple t-shirt, black athletic shorts and white socks with black, full-sole, leather ballet shoes

​

Level 2 wears a blue t-shirt, black athletic shorts or leggings and white or black socks with black, full-sole leather ballet shoes.

​

Level 3 wears a red t-shirt, black leggings and black socks with black ballet shoes.

 

Level 4 wears a grey t-shirt, black leggings and black socks with black ballet shoes.

 

Debutants wears a black t-shirt, black leggings and black socks with black ballet shoes.

Elective Classes: 

​

Levels A, B, & C:

​

Tap: Any danceable clothes with any style black tap shoes

​

Jazz: Any danceable clothes with any style black jazz shoes

​

Modern: Any danceable clothes with barefeet

​

*Uncovered sports bras and bootie shorts are not allowed*

​

Hair needs to be pulled off face and in a ballet bun for ALL ballet classes, for elective classes and boys hair needs to be pulled out of face.

NO accessories or jewelry on hands, fingers, wrists, necks, or arms. 

Earrings and hair accessories are allowed if they're not too big and get in the way.
